DRAFT Suffering from acne?

People who often have inflammation and pimples often have excessively dry skin (unless it is hormonally determined).

Precisely because your skin is so dry, it goes into 'survival mode', causing it to produce extra (and therefore too much) sebum, causing you to suffer from inflammation and pimples.

I recommend that anyone with this skin type use oil occasionally (three nights a week, for example) and moisturize very well during the day – and sun protection is also a must, as the sun will dry out the skin even more. It is therefore very important to use a day cream with SPF during the summer and also during the winter, or to apply a layer of (tinted) sunscreen on top of your day cream.

1. Cleanse your skin in the morning and evening with a gel cleanser (possibly with a little oil to calm sebum production):

Acne sebum control wash from Madara (budget)

Cleansing gel from Susanne Kaufmann (bestseller!)

Mild Facial Cleanser from Grown Alchemist (bestseller!)

2. If necessary: apply a serum

Active Agent Concentrate by Susanne Kaufmann

Serum Le booster pureté from Absolution

Acne Treatment from Madara (budget)

3. Apply your day cream

Acne balancing Fluid from Madara (budget)

Face Gel matte by Susanne Kaufmann

Crème de santé from Absolution

4. Or if it is evening: care for your face with oil – 3 drops are enough

Hemphip Balancing Oil from Trilogy (budget)

Clarifying Facial Oil from Votary

Overnight facial oil from Z&MA

5. If you are going to walk outside a lot: apply SPF (sun protection)

The SPF in natural sunscreens is based on zinc, and zinc is very effective at soothing and protecting pimples.

SPF 30 from Seventy One Percent

Mineral Anti-Aging Sunscreen from Soleil Toujours

->>>> know that if your pimples do not reduce, you have to go a little richer in your skincare so that sebum production stops - you can carefully build up this by, for example, adding a little more oil to your day cream.
